BearSavings

BearSavings personal finance platform featuring tools, calculators, and financial insights

BearSavings is a personal finance website I built to help individuals take control of their financial future through practical tools, insights, and systems. What started as a simple savings tracker evolved into a broader platform focused on making financial planning more accessible, structured, and actionable.

The platform is inspired by the idea of using calculators and interactive tools as the foundation for financial discovery, similar to how platforms like Omni Calculator make complex topics easier to understand. BearSavings applies this concept to personal finance, combining calculators, trackers, and structured insights to help users make informed decisions.

It brings together a wide range of tools across personal finance, investing, and financial planning, including savings trackers, expense tracking, financial calculators, and net worth analysis. These tools are designed not just to provide answers, but to guide users toward better financial habits and clearer long-term goals.

In addition to tools, BearSavings includes structured content such as financial guides and investing ideas. Features like the Personal Finance Checklist and savings challenges help turn financial goals into clear, trackable actions, while AI-powered features like “Ask Bear” provide on-demand financial guidance.

I built BearSavings end-to-end, including product strategy, UX design, system architecture, and growth. Behind the scenes, I focused on creating a scalable system that integrates tools, content, and data into a cohesive experience, supported by SEO-driven discovery and continuous iteration.

Through BearSavings, I explored how to build a product that blends utility, education, and engagement, with the goal of making financial planning simpler, more accessible, and more actionable for everyday users.
